Recipe and Topping Ideas
The possibilities are endless…
Try spreading different flavors of hummus on our waffles—like roasted red pepper or zesty garlic.
Another tasty topping is tzatziki sauce.
Traditional falafel toppings include chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, sweet banana pepper (or hot banana pepper if you like it extra spicy), dill pickles, parsley, and tahini sauce. Please follow our recipe on how to make delicious tahini sauce to either spread on the waffles or drizzle over the traditional toppings.
For a real authentic touch, add pickled turnips to the suggested toppings. It adds a delightful flavor and bold color for a great presentation.
